Healing the Witch Wound – With Wild Circles and Ancient Sisterhood

The following is based on personal visions in deep meditation, and the time has come to share this wisdom and these words:

I sat down in a sacred space that I created in my home. A nest for exploring my inner world. I set the intention to heal deep wounds, and I slowly sipped on my cup of sacred ceremonial Cacao.

I allowed myself to enter a that deep trance state, the space between the waking world and the realm of dreams. The sound of my heart grew louder and louder within me, until it was replaced with the sounds of beating drums, and a crackling fire.

In a single blink, I had been transported from the comfort of my home, to a sacred circle, in honor of the Awakening Feminine.

There were a thousand Sisters and Brothers there celebrating her return, and the reclamation of her power.  We playfully danced around the ceremonial fire, honoring its strength, knowing that many of us had once been burned for sharing the deep wisdom we carry.

We were all there, because the time had come for us to rise again. Healers, Teachers, Midwives, and Magic Makers, all called back to the physical realm to guide the global community as we shift into this new paradigm.

My vision shifted to another place.  I witnessed myself descending into the depths of the temple of the Goddess, I looked the eyes of the High Priestess, and I knew I had been initiated into the sacred Mysteries of the Feminine. I knew I was here to restore the her power to her full potential.

Again, with a blink, I was transported.

When I regained  focus, I could see nothing but tall grass all around me and a big Silver Moon above my head. In the distance, I could hear drums, and my feet began to instinctively carry me towards the familiar sounds.

The closer I moved to the drums, the more expansion I felt in my heart. The tall grass whipped past me as my feet continued forward. I heard a whisper from deep within my womb, and she said “Witch, you are almost home.”

In that moment, I stepped out of the tall grass into a clearing.  Someone had taken the time to weave the tall grass
into intricate braids. I could feel the love and intention radiating from the hand-braided grass floor of the giant circle.

As my eyes lifted from the ornate woven floor, I realized I was not alone.

Within that giant crop circle of woven grass was a magical circle of women. They were singing, dancing, sharing their wisdom, and sharing their pain.  I knew that I had made it home.

When I looked into the eyes of the women in that circle, I saw dear friends, sisters and elders, from this life and from a hundred past lives. Some I recognized easily, others, felt familiar, but I didn’t recognize their faces.

It was clear that we had all been in circle before and that we choose to be here together again.

Suddenly, a wise woman spoke loudly above the chatter and drums. The circle fell silent under the weight of her words.

Her voice was filled with lifetimes of wisdom, and I could hear the torture she had endured, as a healer, as a midwife, as a Witch.

“The time has come Sisters,” She said. “We have come back to heal our collective wound, so we can guide the collective through this shift. They burnt us before. They silenced us, and our daughters have paid the price.”

She stood and began to walk around the circle, looking each of us in the eyes.

“Their voices have been kept quiet. Their bodies have been shamed by the patriarchy. And their magic has been pushed to the verge of extinction.”

I could feel something bubbling up from within me. A deep power that had been suppressed for far too long. As the Wise Woman continued to speak about our magical revolution. I could feel the sadness, the rage, and the fear of past lives coming to the surface.

“We are here now Sisters, and it is no accident.” She pointed to the Moon with her wrinkled hand. “The Moon has called us to heal, Sisters. We are the Alchemists who will turn this Lead into Gold. We are the Witches who will shift the tides. We are the ones.”

Her words echoed in my ears, and reverberated into every inch of my body.

Around the circle we took each other’s hands.  I could feel the energy of a thousand lifetimes of healing move through the circle. I knew that the women next to me were just as dedicated as I am to guiding the collective into a new paradigm.

Knowing that our time in this circle was coming to a close, all the women began to exchange hugs, and words of love and encouragement. In that moment I knew, that there was always a sacred circle for me to lean into for support in this journey.

And when my awareness shifted back to the present moment, I could feel the Witch Wound healing. I could feel my throat opening up and my truth was already beginning to spill out.

Now, there is no more room for hiding or staying small. There isn’t time to pretend that we are just like everyone else. We are in the middle of a shift that is calling us to stand in our power, to heal the collective, and move with grace into the next evolution of humanity.

Together we are making space for the Witch to move back into her place of power, and for that she will grant us access to her immense powers. With access to her magic, we can shift and heal the world around us!

What shifts will you usher in Sister?
