She holds a BFA from RISD (The Rhode Island School of Design) and her artwork has received awards and honors worldwide. Her work embodies myth and the esoteric through her drawings and paintings, jewelry, talismans, and other designs. Laura has been a practicing Modern Traditional Witch for over two decades and revels in the intersection of her various paths with witchcraft. She blogs for Patheos as A Modern Traditional Witch, Witches & Pagans as Fine Art Witchery, and contributes to The Witches' Almanac, Ltd. She edited the recent release from Revelore Press: The New Aradia: A Witch's Handbook to Magical Resistance. Laura is the author of four books from Llewellyn Worldwide: The Witch's Cauldron: The Craft, Lore & Magick of Ritual Vessels (May 2017) and Sigil Witchery: A Witch's Guide to Crafting Magick Symbols (January 2018), The Witch's Altar (co-authored with Jason Mankey - November 2018) and Weave The Liminal: Living Modern Traditional Witchcraft (January 2019). March 21st 2019 we are having our annual Grimoire making workshop. This year we are also hosting a Medieval India Ink Making Workshop where you can custom make an intentional magickal ink for your own spellwork and magical intentions. In this workshop you will grind your own pigments and resins, imbed eseential oils and end up with a 1/2 ox bottle of magickal ink to take home.
The cost covers instruction and materials. Class must be pre-paid for and space will be limited.
Cancellation policy: Up to 50% refunded for cancellations 48 hrs in advance. Cancellations within 47 hrs or less will result in a discount for a future class but no refund.

We are a new eclectic coven with practitioners from hoodoo, voodoo, Hermetic, Hellenistic, and non-Wiccan traditional witchcraft arenas. We highly encourage folx of all gender expressions to join us in magick circle with drinks at a nearby pub after. This month we will be focusing on Ancestral work in honor of Black History Month. Cost $12It is led by an eclectic group of magickal practicioners Terrance Gamble, Josh Runyon, Bran Logan Hernandez.Terrance Gamble is a witch with a particular interest in Ancient Greek magic and Italian folk magic. He is also a Hellenic polytheist who has facilitated public rituals to the goddess Hekate and the god Dionysus for two years here in Portland. A practitioner for twenty two years, Terrance takes great joy in teaching magic to young witches and reading the cards.Josh is a non-Wiccan traditional witch whose background in herbalism and current focus on communing with the dead dovetail into a perspective on healing that includes a lot of grave dirt. He has been practicing for over 25 years and when he isn’t spending time with his cats you can find him hexing the patriarchy and finding other ways to use magick to support marginalized folx.Bran Logan Hernandez is a native Portlander and hereditary enchanter,,witch and conjurer who grew up practicing old school Hoodoo, New Orleans Voodoo, European Witchcraft and Curanderismo. Bran’s personal approach is “one should know the rules and then transcend them through rigorous study, humor, practice and innovation.” He applies this to his personal practice, his classes and his extensive magickal work within the Portland area. He also likes pizza rolls.
